Meeting the musical needs of the church, the Music Ministry seeks to nurture worshippers, encourage musicians by understanding the challenges of local ministry, facilitate music ministry excellence through leadership training, and provide music related resources.

HISTORY
In February 2002 as Jesus Power Assemblies Of God Church was increasing in number, Pastor Osei Akomeah set up the music ministry. On February 2002, the group had 16 members. The group sang a very inspirational special song with explosive anointing on its first performance, which touched the hearts of the pastors and the congregation. Pastor Osei Akomeah then mounted the pulpit and said, "This group shall be called 'The Power Of Praise".

"The Power Of Praise" (POP), has come to stay. The Music Director, Deacon. James K. Quartey, realized that he cannot handle the group alone. He, therefore, called for a meeting to elect the executives/ leaders for the group. On the 23rd day of the month of March 2002, the following executives were elected and confirmed by the Head Pastor Bismark Osei Akomeah.

The group with its awesome ministrations currently have about 28 punctual members and not including the youth choir which was ushered into ministry in 2005. With the music inclined Director's efforts and dedicated abilities, POP and the youth choir has been able to host some renowned Ghanaian Gospel Music celebrities recently, including Rev. Thomas Yawson and the Tagoe Sisters, Jane & Bernice, Suzzie & Matt, Daughter of Glorious Jesus in a powerful explosion of Praise and Worship which has been a very big blessing for the church. POP also hosted the Gospel General Azigiza Jnr, also from Ghana and many others.

POP have been releasing powerful ministrations with tremendous anointing wherever they go, and whatever program the Spirit of the Lord leads them to attend. They make an incredible distinction when they minister at programs like Gospel Music Concerts, weddings, Out-dooring and naming ceremonies. POP have been named the unbeatable gospel music group among the Ghanaian churches in Columbus, Ohio.
